Hand Drawn Prints

The British countryside and garden blooms are a constant source of inspiration to us here at Lorelei London. Our prints are all hand drawn and designed in-house. Their provenience is directly connected to friends of our brand and therefore named after them. Our artistry begins by researching what is special to our client, whether that is a garden bloom they have nurtured, a wedding bouquet, or simply their favourite flower.  Once the sketch is created, they are intricately coloured up using a variety of mediums: Water colours, pens, pencils, acrylics, and chalks.

Print options are then developed from the original artwork into either a literal print or a kaleidoscopic repeat.  Once we approve the print design, we send this to our digital printers in London, a zero-to-landfill facility, all prints are made using 100% renewable energy. Our cotton fabrics are printed in one of the most eco-friendly ways possible, using 8 colour digital pigment inks that meet GOTS 6.0, REACH and OEKE-TEX class 1 requirements. Our printing requires no water in the printing process and uses around 95% less energy than traditional screen printing.

The fabric is then hand checked and handed over to our trusted partner to make our dresses to the highest standard at their London garment manufacturing facility.

  The Lorelei Lady dress is a perfect example of British heritage style, with a modern yet nostalgic twist. To create forever fashion, that becomes a special piece in our client's archive or a family heirloom is the dream.
